Custom Fields allows you to collect additional information that is unique to your organization for every shift created in the Schedule Today Platform. Custom fields will only appear on shifts if your location has this feature turned on and your main account admin has set them up you will be able to apply them to shifts.
There are 3 types of custom fields:
Single-Line Text
Single-line text inputs are excellent for free-form information that is not predictable or standardized, and do not require more than a few words.
Paragraph Text
Paragraph text inputs are for free-form information that is not predictable or standardized, and require more than a sentence.
Dropdown (Single Select)
Dropdown(s) allow you to input information that is predictable and does not change frequently. You can create a set list of options to select from, and then choose one of those options to display on the shift. You may also choose to always pre-select the first option in the list.
