How do I add additional shift(s) (one or more days per week) to my team members schedule?

At Schedule Today we recognize that your team members may not always work the "typical" 9-5, in fact we know that they may even work multiple shifts per day; that's why our scheduling tool has been specifically designed with you in mind. This article will walk you through the process of adding additional shift(s) on a particular day for one or more of your team members.

Adding additional shift(s) to my teams' schedule

     1. Begin by opening the Schedule (in the left navigation menu).

     2. Then open the Position you wish to schedule for

     3.  Proceed by either creating a new Open Shift or copy (the second shifts details from another                 team members schedule) and paste them into the Open Shift row in the schedule.

     4.  Then simply click on the Open Shift drag the shift and drop it on to the appropriate team                       members schedule on the appropriate date. You may perform this action as many times as you             need to (with the exception of overlapping shifts).Screen_Shot_2021-10-05_at_3.17.21_PM.png

     5. Depending on your schedule settings - overtime threshold (default to 8 hours per day, per                    team member) you may receive a Daily Overtime Exceeded warning message.

*Note:  This type of warning message will not prevent you from being able to publish your schedule.*

     6. Congratulations, you may now publish your team members schedule!
