Schedule Today allows you to communicate with your team members and administrators at your location!
There are three types of communications:
- conversation: a 1:1 interaction with a team member or administrator
- group chat: a group interaction with multiple team members and/or administrators, where all group members can respond to and see all messages within the group chat.
- broadcast: a message sent to a group of people, where all team members can see the message you send within the group but cannot respond to the group (i.e. team members responses will be sent to you as a 1:1 conversation).
To start a conversation/ group chat:
1. Click on Communications to start a new conversation or group chat
2. Click on New
3. Click on New Conversation or New Group Chat.

- Use the Search Team Member search bar to locate the healthcare professional(s) you wish to speak with. Use the filters to narrow down the search by facility, team member type or position.

4. Click on Select Team Member to proceed to start a new conversation.
5. Type your message and click Send.
The worker will receive your message on their Schedule Today app and respond shortly!
To start a broadcast:
1. Click New.
2. Click on New Broadcast Group.

- Use the Search Team Member search bar to locate for the workers' that you want to add to your Broadcast Group. Use the filters to narrow down the search by facility, team member type or position. Select multiple workers', then click Select Team Member to proceed to start a new broadcast group.
3. The creator of the broadcast group will automatically be the admin. You have the option to add more administrators if you choose. Click Save and continue.
4. Name your Broadcast Group. Click Create Broadcast Group.
5. Type your message and click Send.
The group of workers will receive your message on their Schedule Today app and will respond to you directly!
